Regions, unlike panels, don’t break all the components of the Superpanel. Regions just cut the top component into separate regions.
The tools to break the panels are the same as the panel break tools, but under the Regions tab, there are two new tools Modify Region Edge and Insert Finish Package.
Modify Region Edge
- Select the Regions tab.
- Select a Superpanel in the list.
- Select the Modify Region Edge icon
- Each edge of the panel will have a blue arrow on it. Left-click on an arrow to turn it green.
- The edge conditions of the panel and all its components will be listed on the right. An illustration of how the separate components work together will be beneath the properties.
- Select the Glass Mat Gypsum component. An arrow will appear beside the current Butt option.
- Click on the arrow to reveal the other end options available. Select Wrap, and the illustration will update beneath to show the glass mat material wrapping around the structural portion of the wall.
- Change it back to Butt.
Insert Finish Package
- Return to a global view of all panels by selecting the Return to Global View icon
.
- Select the 3D Quick View icon
- Select the lower left icon to view the model from that vantage point.
- The model is now in a 3D view.
- Select the Insert Finish Package icon
.
- The Catalog will appear to the right and finishes in the catalog will be displayed. Select the StoCast Brick (Westland) finish.
- Left-click on one of the superpanels or individual region and the new finish will apply itself to that region.
