Modifying Panel Edges

Each edge of the panel can be a Free or Bound edge. Indicating that the edge of the panel is bound by another panel that abuts it, or it is Free from touching other panel edges, or is the dominant edge.

1. Select the Modify Panel Edge icon  under the Panels tab or by selecting Panels> Modify Panel Edge.
2. The panel now displays a red arrow on each edge of the panels that make up the Superpanel.
3. Left-click on the red arrow on the top horizontal edge of the Superpanel, as indicated in the following diagram.
4. The properties of the edge are displayed in the Panel Edge Properties to the right. Three settings can be adjusted.

• The Edge Type can be Free or Bound
• The Adjustment can be to Holdback the panel at a set distance or use an Extension distance to move the edge out further.
• The Distance is the amount to Holdback or of the Extension.
