Super Panels
Purpose – the Panelizer divides the building into Super Panels, large planar areas/sections made up of individual panels.
- The Super Panels will follow global settings (Panels > Settings) or can have individual settings (Panels > Individual Settings).
- Each Super Panel is displayed as a blue box with an “X” in it.
- There is always a panel break between Super Panels.
- Custom Super Panels - you can overwrite the current Super Panels to define your own area(s) with a custom seht of penalization rules.

Settings & Individual Settings
Purpose – the Panelizer determines the panelization, then you can adjust the panelization of the Super Panels globally or individually.
- To panelize the whole building, click the yellow "Calculate" button in the upper right corner.
- Settings sliders – in the tab Panels > Settings tab, you can define the global settings that will apply to all Super Panels. Specific Super Panels can be adjusted in the next step, Panels > Individual Settings.
- Note: The individual settings override the global settings. The user selects which Super Panels will have individual settings.

Paneltype Variety
Purpose – assign which Panel Type should be used for a specific material.
- Note: Some finishes can be used on more than one Panel Type.
- If different options are available, they are listed in the drop-down list.
Panel Edges
Purpose – to define your own panel edges or merge certain panel edges for panelization.
- The Panel Edges tool can be used to influence the panel layout if the Panel Settings do not provide the desired layout. Here you can either define your own panel breaks (+) or merge certain panel breaks (-).
- Added panel breaks are indicated by a green line and merged panel breaks are indicated by a red line in your 3D model.
- Note: In order for your added or merged panel edges to be taken into account, you must set the slider "Arch. Line Magnetic" to "Essential" in the Panel Settings.
