Step 6.1: Elevations > Cropping

Purpose – this is where the individual elevations or facades are created. These facades are projected onto the floorplan framework to create a 3D model.

• Add new PDFs and label/name the PDFs.
  • Note: If the scale is different than the floorplans, that is okay, the elevation/projection will “stretch”.
• Additional floors can be added using the plus button in the upper right corner. 

Cropping

• Use the control points to define the facade at its outer edges.
  • Note: The Panelizer detects “air".
  • Note: You can change the elevation at any time by using the control points again.
• You may have more than one elevation on a page in which case you will identify one and the rest will be grayed out.
