With the March update, we introduce several enhancements across project planning, operation scheduling, cost analysis, and multilingual usability in StoPanel Operator.
 

Improved Project Planning Board & Status Tracking

We are excited to share a major upgrade to the project planning board. This release introduces:

• A new schedule‑adherence logic for more accurate project evaluations
• A new color‑coded system that clearly highlights early, on‑time, and delayed execution
• A refined visual structure for project phases, project activities, and panel timelines

These improvements significantly enhance transparency—from high‑level planning to detailed panel execution.

Operation Planning Enhancements

A new configuration option is now available for operation scheduling:

“Plan operations completely”

• When enabled: Operations are scheduled only if they can be completed within the available working time on the same day.
• When disabled (default): Operations may be split across days. If a task cannot be finished before the end of the shift, the remaining time is automatically scheduled for the next workday.

This option provides better control over how operations are allocated across the schedule.

Cost Code for Improved Project Cost Analysis

To increase reporting transparency and strengthen project cost analysis, a new “Cost code” field is now available across key elements in StoPanel Operator.

What’s new?

The Cost code can now be defined for:

• Materials
• Operation types
• Indirect labor types

The field is visible in all relevant views, including:

• Material consumption
• Operation / Operation time
• Indirect labor
• Project times analysis

The Project Times Analysis view now uses one unified Cost code field, enabling clear grouping and precise evaluation of time and effort by cost category.

This improvement provides greater cost transparency and ensures more accurate internal project tracking.

BoM Import Enhancements

A standardized template is now available for fast BoM creation in StoPanel Operator.

Key requirements:
Materials must be set up in the system, panels must be in status “Open,” and each import line must contain Panel Number, Material Number, and Quantity.

Optional fields such as operation type, lengths, or notches can be added to support more detailed production workflows.

This improves data consistency and streamlines material planning across projects.

Updated Spanish App Translations

We updated the Spanish translations across the StoPanel Operator Shopfloor app. This update includes:

• A complete review of key terminology
• Harmonized and consistent phrasing
• Improved clarity and usability for Spanish‑speaking teams

These enhancements ensure a smoother and more intuitive experience for all users working in Spanish.
